John Browning

John holds a BS in Ag Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his food ingredient industry experience is nearly unmatched.

John began his career in Sales with National Starch and Chemical Inc., selling packaging adhesives and later food starch, where he worked with IFPC as one of National’s primary distributors in the Midwest. He then sold food chemicals for several years in the St. Louis market before joining Tate & Lyle, where he served in roles ranging from Marketing Manager, Business Development Manager, Global Account Sales Director, and Regional Sales Director. Also, John worked for Bunge Oils, leading their large account sales team as VP of Sales before returning to Ingredion in specialty ingredient sales. While at Ingredion, John rekindled a relationship that would benefit both John and IFPC.

John joined IFPC in 2019 as Sales Manager. His strategic vision and strong relationship with the sales team lead him to create the new Strategic Sales team – a group of accomplished sales people that pursue growth markets and serve strategic accounts. John is also using his experience to make an impact on our Dairy team.

John is a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He enjoys fly fishing & hunting as hobbies, as well as spending time with his family and friends, especially Fall tailgating as a lifelong fan of the Missouri Tigers.
