Nearly 40 years ago, Fred purchased International Distributing Corp., a Midwest sugar distributor that has grown into what is now International Food Products, a national advisor and supplier to foodservice and food manufacturers throughout the U.S. Fred’s leadership and focus on long-term customer partnerships has contributed to the company’s significant growth throughout the years.

Following his graduation from Washington University in St. Louis, where he received his B.S. in Psychology, Fred served the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1962. He then started his business career in sales and operations at United Bags/International Distributing Corp. He subsequently served as president of both companies from 1966 through 1974, when he purchased International Distributing Corp.
